Halloween Loaded Envelope

I made my first loaded Envelope today for a swap I am in. For this swap we were to alter an  6" x 9" envelope in a Vintage Halloween theme,
and fill the pockets to the brim with Halloween goodies for our partner!

I started by pulling off the metal clasp and gluing down the flap inside. Papering my envelope on both sides and inside the rims with Halloween designer paper so no manila was showing anywhere. Then cutting a 3" slit down the center rolling and tucking each side under, to create a "collar" so to speak.

I used tacky glue to adhere everything and tucked some old paper inside so the glue would not touch and glue my envelope together by mistake and also to expand the envelope.
I wanted too add a large pocket to hold some goodies,  but I wound up covering half of my pocket with the large orange doily! So I had a small pocket, tiny pocket plus the inside to fill with goodies on my envelope. (Next time I want to really get creative with a lot of pockets!) Once everything was covered nicely and dry here comes the fun part- the embellishing!
Here is my Loaded Envelope. Not sharing the goodies today that go with it until the swap is received by my partner. show you later.

There are some tutorials on Youtube you can check out if your interested.

Happy Halloween!
