Fly Butterfly

I covered a large manila tag with newspaper  print, sealed with matte medium, and brushed on dirty martini, calypso teal, and bubble gum pink archival inks with a slightly wet paint brush.
Background was created with dots fade and honeycomb stencils using picket fence distress paint.
Butterfly stamp by Stamplorations was stamped on newspaper, colored with inks, stenciled, cut out, and outlined in black marker. Clock dial stamp was added for butterflies body.
Stamping was done in jet black archival ink.
Grunge board piece and star embellishment are from my stash.

  2. This is so beyond lovely. The rich, cool tones are beautiful and I love how the hexagon goes over the butterfly, too. Happy to be your newest follower!
